Fortnite is back with chapter 2 and a New BattlePass
The most played BattleRoyale Game in the world Fortnite has been out for 2 years. A couple of days ago there was an event in-game in which the players whether in-game or at menu experienced the destruction of the island. The original Island was engulfed by a Blackhole. After the Blackhole event players were unable to login and play the game. There was a total blackout these past 2 days. But today Fortnite announced that they are overhauling the game and bringing in chapter 2 of the game. The Blackhole event marks the ending of Fortnite season X which was launched at the beginning of August of this year.
The launch of Chapter 2 of Fortnite says goodbye to the original island and welcomes a completely new island. Chapter 2 of the game brings along a new Battlepass (Season 1 of Chapter 2). The new Battlepass leveling system will be a little different from the ones before in chapter 1. There will be weekly missions present in the battle pass. The players can complete the tasks of the mission and new missions will be allotted to them after they have completed a set of tasks. Before the mission stayed the same but the difficulty of the tasks was increased as you completed them. The first week’s missions of the season are relatively easier in difficulty and focus on discovering the new map and new features available to the players in the new update.
New gameplay features introduced in Chapter 2 are fishing, swimming and new vehicles like boats. These new features will provide a new gaming experience for players and rekindle the love for this wacky game. There are a couple of new weapons, there is a variant of the rocket launcher and a new semi-automatic pistol. The Battlepass offers brand new skins as rewards by levelling up in-game. The levelling up is easier this time around for players who have subscribed to the Battlepass.
